Who Publishes the Articles

Renovate and Plan uses editorial desk bylines. They describe an area of coverage and a review process; they are not fictional individual designers. We do not invent clients, completed projects, site visits, professional credentials, invoices or product tests.

Research and Plan Facts

House-plan facts are checked against the available publisher information. Editorial interpretation is kept separate from source facts. A review cannot replace architectural, engineering, code, permit or contractor advice for a specific site.

Costs and Product Information

Cost ranges are estimates, not bids or invoices. They should state their year, geographic basis, assumptions and sources. Product details can change, so readers should verify current specifications and warranties with the manufacturer or seller.

Visual Workflow

Publisher drawings and licensed source images are identified where used. Room, facade and renovation directions are editorial concept visualizations, not photographs of completed client projects or extra options supplied by a plan publisher.

We use a mixed workflow with established design, drafting, CAD, image-editing and rendering software. AI-assisted tools may help widen the range of ideas and support creativity, but they do not replace editorial direction, plan verification or human review. An editor must compare each visual with its caption, adjacent text and alt text before publication.

Affiliate Links

Some house-plan reviews contain a clearly labelled affiliate link to a third-party publisher. A purchase may earn the publication a commission at no extra cost to the reader. Compensation does not change the editorial verdict.

Corrections

Send a correction through the contact page with the article URL and a supporting source. Confirmed factual errors are corrected. The original publication date remains intact; a meaningful revision may update the modification date.
